She lay still, in a dream-like state and surrendered completely, holding her breath as his hair roughened chin rubbed around her smooth skin. Slowly, slowly, up and down, round and round. It was all too much.

“Right...” Her mind tried to take it in, and her stomach tightened with a heady mixture of anticipation and anxiety.

This man was, without doubt, the making of her. But he might also be her undoing. This torturing was the hidden darker side to him, which she'd sensed, and he'd begun to unleash. And now she was aware of it, she liked it more than she cared to say and she wanted to see just how dark he got and how far he'd go.
